This poster is by designer, Micah Heiselt - one of our good friends.  It's one of the new posters for sale at Print Aid NYC!    100% of proceeds go to the Mayor's Fund for Hurricane Relief.  New posters daily.

If you'd like to join in with The Mormon Helping Hands this Saturday or Sunday, volunteers will be going out in force to help with storm relief and clean up efforts in Staten Island and Coney Island.  All are welcome.  It's an experience you will never forget!!  Tasks will include removing damaged property and damaged sheetrock/carpet, water removal, cleaning houses, etc., depending on the requested help.  Danny and I will be going to Staten Island on Saturday.

Storm Relief and Clean-up in Staten Island:

Where: Staten Island Mormon Chapel (913 Rockland Avenue, Staten Island, NY)
When: Saturday, 11/17 and Sunday, 11/18 starting at 8:30am - ending at 4:00 pm.
Who: Any volunteer aged 16 and older
What To Do: Simply show up at the above location (Sunday will begin with a brief spiritual meeting)
Details: Volunteers will be organized into work teams, receive instructions, and go to assigned areas by carpool. Please wear appropriate attire and bring sufficient food and water (e.g. sack lunch) for yourself for the entire day. Please bring any tools or equipment that would be helpful (work gloves are a must! - preferably with rubber liners, face mask, eye protection, crowbars, hammers, large garbage bags, cleaning supplies, etc.)  There will also be some work supplies provided at each meeting location, in addition to a yellow vest - which is important for safety and group purposes out in the field.
